Back in the game!

Genesis Latitude, a size smaller than my old one.
Renthal bars and stem (common theme on all my MTBs)
XT 2 x 10 gruppo
Deore on WTB rims
Suntour forks (internals look very Marzocchi to me, work like my old Fox Vanilla)

And... Shimano Alivio brakes, which are fooking amazing, much to my amazement.

Good to see you have some wheels again Tony.

It's a nice looking machine I give you that.

However extremely surprised to hear you raving about Alivio brakes, really that good?

Good stuff Mr SV [thumb]
These new fangled brakes ARE amazing! What you can get for your money now is outstanding, with Shimano and Clarks (which are basically the same brakes with a different name, look the same, same pads, same hose fittings etc) running around £30-£50 a set they are bloody disposable once they need new pads and or bleeding lol.

I'm surprised I like them too... will see how they handle winter.

Now just have to decide on a full bouncer... Been offered an ex demo Intense at a silly price but unsure if I like the colour....

Nice!

What forks are they?

And when are you getting one of these?

It's the basic build with X-Fusion shocks. I'm not that kean on them but as a base model its awesome value.

Upgrades already planned are:
RS Revelation forks
RS rear shock (maybe a Cane Creek double barrel if the price is right)
RS Reverb dropper post
Formula Brakes
XT from Genesis
Renthal front end
Hope Hubs on Stans ZTR

However, these might have to wait as a fresh set of garage doors and massive locks have chipped away at available funds.

As for the Fat Chance... Maybe one day but it's at the bottom of the list at the moment.
